• Reported on the Washington state legislature with a focus on amplifying underrepresented communities.
• Developed a system to track bills on immigration, labor, agriculture, and health, organizing them by relevance to
generate story ideas aligned with my reporting interests.
• Photographed major legislative events including the 2024 election night, legislative floor sessions, and rallies at the
Capitol, capturing pivotal moments in state politics.

• Wrote more than 30 daily news stories for print and online, up to three a day, about local Samoan communities and the environment, emphasizing issues such as waste management and biodiversity.
